When traveling between Southport and Stockton-on-Tees I generally take a shortcut through Sedbergh towards Kirkby Stephen. This route goes through the Yorkshire Dales National Park – it’s a very pleasant drive. As I always go on business, I don’t have time to stop and enjoy the view, but this time I took my camera and started early(ish). Although I didn’t have time to veer from the beaten path, I did stop a few times and take a few snaps. To me this is typical British scenery. When the sun is shining there isn’t a better place to be than Britain.
