While I was out digging the garden yesterday evening this little chap came down to help himself to a worm that I had surfaced. He didn’t seem at all bothered by my presence. So, out came the camera and the mini tripod. I set the focus to about 12 inches, and placed a worm at the appropriate distance from the camera. Eventually I got the shot, but it was getting dark, and the composition leaves something to be desired.
So, next time, it’s out with the proper tripod, a greater zoom to blur the background, and I need to get the bird onto the handle of a spade in order to get the perfect shot.
