One of the biggest problems in the Church today is a lack of gentleness. We treat each other roughly becuase we fail to consider one another. Compassion is a vanishing virtue. Out godly living is demonstrated through gentleness born of wisdom. This is the opposite of selfish ambition. Wisdom doesn’t look at others in envy, but gives.
Wisdom is pure (no ulterior motives), it is peacable (not bringing contention), it is gentle because itthinks first, then acts, it is willing to yield because it knows the destructive power of pride, it is merciful because it remembers its own need for mercy. Wisdom gives freely & impartially as it knows that God gives freely & impartially.
The result: a harvest of righteousness!
